Serape Effect

The serape effect is involved in the following movements: striking, throwing, lifting, bending, jumping, running and swinging.

Activities, such as throwing, swinging and running are possible because of the serape effect.

 

180 Fitness Clinic

180° Introductory Clinic

Kettlebells, bandit loops, slosh tubes, suspension training, bands, ropes, tires, and the list goes on! We offer some of the most dynamic and authentic training programs in all of Ottawa and when our exercises are performed properly we guarantee the results will be astonishing. That is why it is critical to recognize the importance of correct exercise technique.

During your 1/2 hour session we will teach you how to swing kettlebells to avoid putting undue strain on your body; we emphasize proper posture when working with various weights; we will show you some beneficial breathing techniques and will give you the opportunity to try some of the other equipment you may be unfamiliar with that our training programs use on a daily basis.

180° Introductory Clinic

The clinics are smaller groups of generally 2 - 4 people. You benefit from the close attention of a personal trainer so you will feel confident when you enter other 180° classes. Once you complete our clinic you can either jump right into regular classes or continue polishing your skills and technique with introductory courses for up to 5 weeks, offered as part of our 180° Initiation package.

Your exercise programs should not leave you feeling too stiff or uncomfortable. 180° Fitness is dedicated to teaching correct form and technique to ensure that you achieve maximum results from your workout routines.
