Every morning, at the crack of dawn, when the sun peaks over the horizon and most people are just hitting snooze, Adrian Delorey is up, outside, and arranging hoops and ladders on the ground, tying ropes to lamp posts and lining up kettlebells in front of Avalon Lake. He is preparing obstacle courses, reviewing workout routines and waiting for 30 or 40 women to arrive at 5 a.m. With yoga mats and dumbbells in hand, what could possibly have prompted these women to give up their last precious hour of sleep? The answer: AMD Orleans Adventure Boot Camp.
Adrian Delorey is the owner of Orleans and Kanata Adventure Boot Camp, a successful workout program that is run outdoors with the most exciting exercise routines the fitness world has to offer. Adrian has dedicated his mornings, afternoons, and evenings for the past 3 years to organizing and running his boot camps. His camps were so positively received by the Orleans and Kanata communities that he won 2 Peoples Choice Awards one for Young Business Person of the Year in 2007 and another for Customer Service Excellence in 2008!
Dedicated to making an impact on people's lives, Adrian wanted to develop and expand his business model even further. His new goal was to own a training centre where he could help people make positive changes in their lives through improved health and fitness.

"Results aren't handed to you, results are earned. I expect a lot out of trainers/coaches/clients; it's about Motivation, implementing the right tools, making sure you are inspiring and getting results on a regular basis," states Adrian regarding his approach to fitness.
He had an idea to create a training center that would bring his philosophy about health and fitness to people's attention and help them implement his philosophy into their own lives. With a vision in mind and the support of his campers and the community at large, in October of 2009 Adrian Delorey undertook the biggest project thus far in life - the building of 180° Fitness.
The road was long and the territory un-trodden. Adrian, with an honors degree in Kinesiology and prior experience running a business, was for the first time face-to-face with the trials of building and establishing a business from scratch.
180° Fitness started out as an empty warehouse.
Adrian's unique ability to recognize potential and initiate change through hard work, transformed that warehouse into the vibrant and energetic 180° Fitness. This is a training centre with a story that the entire community is a part of. An effort of all ages and genders, contributing their time to painting and organizing the new training centre. With that much positive energy painted into the walls, nailed into the floors, and examined with smiles and kudos, 180° Fitness emanates inspiration, motivation, and friendship.
How did Adrian keep his spirit so strong during the entire project?
"Its pretty amazing when you have clients who come to you with tears in their eyes, saying they couldn't do a push up when they first started, couldn't get off the couch, or run a mile, and now they just ran their first marathon, are way more active, off their diabetes medication, and/or passed that police test €¦its pretty amazing stuff to be able to make that kind of impact in peoples lives. This is what 180° fitness is all about it's about making an impact in people's lives showing people what is possibleand ultimately taking them in a new direction health wise."
