Breathing awareness

Holding your breath while bearing down can push blood pressure up significantly. You can also reduce blood flow to your brain and increase pressure in your chest – both of which could be dangerous while exercising.

 

About 180 Fitness Trainer: Chantalle Robitaille, B.Sc. KIN CEP(NQI) 

Chantalle Robataille (B.Sc KIN CEP (NQI))
Born and raised in the Ottawa area, Chantalle is a bilingual personal trainer with over 12 years of experience.  A very active person, Chantalle plays hockey, basketball in the winter months and is an avid cyclist in the summer.  She also loves to go for a run with her pooch around the canal. 

Chantalle started her career in the rehabilitation field, working as a therapist in a physiotherapy clinic. She dedicated 3 years of work to helping motor vehicle accident patients and spent over 5 years with long term disability patients. Chantalle has an exhaustive rehabilitation back ground. 

Chantalle's specialty at 180 Fitness is a series of Butt & Gut classes, a program designed to target the glutes, thighs and core.
